Penny Pancakes

Sorry again for posting pictures of food.  I really try not to do that.  Maybe I should get my friend, Les, to take the pictures. She does a good job of that.

Anyway, a new hit at our breakfast table has been "Penny Pancakes".  They are nothing more than bite-sized pancakes, but boy are they fun to eat!  We use a squeeze bottle from Hobby Lobby, but you can use an old ketchup bottle or the like.  I fill it with pancake batter and Ashlyn gets to squeeze it onto the griddle.

The first batch is usually gone before the second batch is ready.

  1. ooooh soooo cute! We have the opposite situation over here. Adam makes a GIANT (I mean the size of a large plate) pancake for himself after he makes our Sat morning normal-sized pancakes! :)

  2. No doubt my kids would love doing this! I even have an extra squeeze bottle hanging around. Thanks for the idea! And I always enjoy your food posts...don't stop :)
